Wood Carvings
In Malawi wood is one of the most available resources, Also they practice a lot. The carving skills are passed from father to son. The wood carving takes place in many forms, from plaques representing African and Malawian scenes to chief chairs. Lots of artists sell their work along the shores of lake Malawi, the worlds fifth largest lake by volume. The two most famous wood carvings are the chief's chair and the three legged tables.
